We will have many fun activities happening throughout the day to make sure that this summer is a fun, and more importantly, safe experience on and around the water. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Free Paddling and Sailing Safety Courses<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For Safe Boating Day are offering a limited number of free spots in classes happening this day. If you would like to become qualified to rent our Hobie Getaway sailboats you can attend a free <strong>Hobie Safety Qualification Class<\/strong>. This course is intended for experienced sailors looking to expand their safety knowledge on the water and be able to rent our Hobie Getaways.\u00a0 Another great option for novice sailors is our <strong>First Sail<\/strong> course which is a great introduction into keelboat sailing taught on our 24-foot keelboat.\u00a0 If an introduction to paddling seems more your style, we are offering a limited number of free spaces to join our Stand Up Paddling-Basic Skills and Safety course taught by qualified paddling instructors.\u00a0 For more information or to register for a limited spot visit  <br><a href=\"https:\/\/mbaquaticcenter.com\/news\/2019\/05\/register-for-a-free-sailing-or-paddling-safety-course-on-may-19th\/\">mbaquaticcenter.com\/news\/2019\/05\/register-for-a-free-sailing-or-paddling-safety-course-on-may-19th\/<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Free Life Jacket Giveaway<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to ensure that you are well equipped for a safe, enjoyable time on and around the water which is why we will be giving away a limited amount of free youth and adult life jackets. If you do not have a life jacket, you can pick one up from 9:00am-12:00pm while supplies last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life jackets are essential safety equipment for those spending time on or around the water. Last year drowning was reported as the cause of death in three-fourths of all boating related fatalities. Approximately 85 percent of those who drowned were not wearing life jackets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Used Equipment Sale<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p> Need some fun gear for the summer?
