Classroom remodel brings new look and tech to MBAC
When past customers and staff return to MBAC after many years away, most fondly reminisce in the familiar sights and sounds of the center. Not much has changed in the look and feel of the building over the years, but in the first major renovation of the current century, our classrooms have been updated with a new look, and new function to start a new era in MBAC instruction.

Clean the Bay this World Oceans Day
Celebrate World Ocean’s Day and do your part to ensure clean water access by participating in the American Canoe Association’s Paddle Green Program. This Thursday, June 8th, you can do your part by coming down to MBAC for a free kayak or SUP rental and collecting trash on the water. Read More
National Safe Boating Week kick-off features free life jacket giveaway
In cooperation with the California State Parks Division of Boating and Waterways we will be kicking off National Safe Boating Week on Sunday, May 21st with our annual Safe Boating Day event featuring free activities including kayak and stand up paddleboard lessons and rentals, vessel inspections, and a life jacket giveaway. From sailing, to surfing, to marine science, attendees of The Watersports Camp have always enjoyed experiential and inquiry based learning in all of our camps.
