The Mission Bay Aquatic Center is offering discounted tickets to the La Jolla Festival of the Arts. For just $10 per ticket you can enjoy a great day of art, food, and music, all while supporting accessible watersports at MBAC. That’s a savings of $4 per ticket! The 2-day festival is held on June 22 & 23 at the UCSD campus and is considered to be one of Southern California’s premiere art events. Each year the Mission Bay Aquatic Center hires watersport instructors, camp counselors, office assistants, and maintenance assistants for the busy upcoming summer season. These summer jobs are a great opportunity for SDSU and UCSD students, as well as students of other colleges, to spend the summer working in a professional and fun work environment. We are seeking hardworking, qualified individuals to join our family and continue to provide a fun and safe educational environment for all.
Employees at MBAC are kept busy throughout the summer and most positions have opportunities to continue as year-round student employment. Working at MBAC is ideal for students who have good availability during the summer, and want a flexible schedule during the fall and spring semesters. Priority consideration for employment is given to current SDSU and UCSD students.
Once hired at Mission Bay Aquatic Center, you will become part of a hard-working, fun-loving team of co-workers who enjoy teaching others about their passion of watersports. Besides working on beautiful Mission Bay, benefits of working at MBAC include: complimentary classes and rentals, Aztec Recreation Center membership, and discounted wakeboarding.
