MBAC Paddling Instructors earn ACA certification
In January Mission Bay Aquatic Center hosted a Stand Up Paddle Instructor Certification Workshop led by American Canoe Association (ACA) Instructor Trainer Jose Gonzalez. In addition to the MBAC paddling instructors, participants included paddlers of various backgrounds looking to increase their skill level of stand up paddleboard instruction. Their dedication to learning these skills was quickly apparent when weather forced them to battle rough winds and rain throughout the week of training. Superfans of Snapchat were excited to wake up and find that the much-hyped Snapbot was making an appearance in San Diego at none other than Mission Bay Aquatic Center. If you’re not familiar with the Snapbot, it is the only way for consumers to get their hands on Snapchat Spectacles–the company’s first foray into the tech gadget market.
