In today’s busy world it can be very difficult to find the time to do the things you want to do. It’s not unusual for us to hear a person say that they would love to learn to sail but just can’t seem to find two consecutive weekends to get started. Search no more. Semester-long classes more popular than ever
There are more students taking semester-long classes at MBAC this semester than ever before. The addition of stand up paddling as a class and the increasing popularity of surfing seem to be the primary contributors to the growth of the program. The new offering of intermediate surfing, which allows beginning surfers the opportunity to return for a second semester of surfing, may be another contributor. Read More
Surf saga begins at MBAC
Lauren Wilson will be moving down under this fall to get work experience and to surf. The recent SDSU grad and MBAC surfing instructor is looking forward to spending our winter months (the southern hemisphere’s summer) surfing the waves off the Australian coast. She has come a long way since taking her first class at MBAC where her goal was to confront her fear of the water. Read More
